Look Entertainment started out as a dream and passion for NWA native & Artistic Director Shallen Orband.
It became a reality when Shallen convinced Operations Manager, Jesse Murdock &
Chief Marketing Director, Josh Furtado to take a chance on Arkansas. They weren’t disappointed
Look Entertainment NWA brings world-class performances to events of all kinds, from private parties to corporate functions. We create atmosphere! Our services are designed to elevate your function and give your attendees something to LOOK at.
As performers ourselves we know what it takes to deliver thrilling, polished shows. We’ve performed together for years at resorts, events, and shows nationwide, including Cirque du Soleil. Our experience sets the standard for the talent we showcase.
Beyond ourselves, our roster includes a variety of skilled aerialists, acrobats, musicians, dancers and circus performers, allowing us to tailor our services to fit your vision.
Jesse Murdock
Operations Manager
Jesse is a flying trapeze catcher and circus performer with a diverse background in martial arts and stunt work. Holding three black belts, he specializes in hand balancing and acrobatics, and also performs Cyr wheel, juggling, and spinning cube. Jesse has performed professionally for 4 years alongside Shallen at resorts and circus programs across the country, including Club Med Creactive by Cirque du Soleil.
Jesse's circus journey began at Cirque School in Los Angeles, studying aerial straps and flying trapeze. After working and performing in nightly shows at Club Med, he moved to New York to instruct and perform at IFly Trapeze before moving to Houston to manage Beyond Circus School.
Shallen Orband
Artistic Director
Shallen grew up in Northwest Arkansas. She went to school at Rogers Heritage High School & graduated from John Brown University. After graduating from college she took a chance and signed up for a 6 month contract to live on-site at a resort in Florida. At Sandpiper Bay, Shallen discovered circus arts and was trained professionally to perform. She spent the next 5 years working and performing at different resorts throughout the Caribbean, including a contract at Cirque Du Soleil Punta Cana. Afterwards, Shallen worked for I-fly Trapeze in New York before moving to Houston, Texas to manage Beyond Circus School for 2 years. In Houston, Shallen performed at many different events and venues, including House of Ostora’s theater show Untamed Soul. Shallen has always felt a deep pull to return to Arkansas & bring an entertainment scene to NWA.
Josh Furtado
Chief Marketing Director
Josh Furtado is a multidisciplinary performer and the chief marketing director at LOOK Entertainment, bringing a wealth of experience from the worlds of circus arts and live events. With a background rooted in acting and contemporary circus, Josh excels at blending athletic discipline with creative storytelling across both stage and screen.
At LOOK Entertainment, he leverages his extensive expertise in festival management and high-energy production to bridge the gap between technical logistics and the performing arts. Whether appearing in commercial projects or orchestrating large-scale immersive experiences, Josh is dedicated to pushing the boundaries of live entertainment through precision, movement, and collaborative artistry.
